Seattle Chapter - Student Outreach Dinner
5:30 PM - 8:00 PM Pacific
Event Description
The Seattle Chapter of SFTE will be hosting our annual Student Outreach Dinner at Raisbeck Aviation High School!

This dinner is the capstone event of the 9th grade flight test student project. These students have spent several months writing test plans and conducting flight tests in an airplane simulator to investigate the effects of several variables on takeoff runway distance. The student projects will be presented to attendees in a walk-around science fair format, and one lucky group will present their findings to the entire group.

SFTE is also providing a speaker: Troy Odstrcil and Noah Sandvig of Boeing Flight Test will give a talk to the students and attendees on airplane brakes testing.

Dinner will be served: $20 for SFTE members and guests, FREE for the students.

Doors open at 5:30 for student project walk-arounds. Dinner is served at 6:30.
